Parent Updated November 13-16th . Here is a snapshot of our next 3 weeks.  Please remember to call in if your child is absent or going to be late.  It is appreciated when students check in to the office when late so we can adjust their attendance records.  It looks like a sloppy week weather wise. Please send extra clothes if you feel your child has an attraction to puddles of water.  We will be looking for inside activities for students once the weather changes.  If you have any of the following items you would be willing to donate, we would love to take it off your hands:  LEGO, games, puzzles,  and colouring books.

Thank you to all students, staff and parents that supported Orange Shirt Day recognizing the truth and reconciliation process with Canadian children. The official date of celebration was September 30th and we chose to acknowledge Orange Shirt Day today. Thank you to our organizers Miss Walker, Miss Jaimelia and the School District #60 Aboriginal dancers.

Our school is taking part in the Adopt a School Program through Indigo/Chapters Books. Donations can be made at the following link:

You can also support our school by voting for our story at the following link:

The top 5 schools in BC have a chance to win up to $2500 in free books. We have slipped to 4th place and would really appreciate a vote to help us stay in the top 5.

Thank you to all families and friends who came out to celebrate at the Grand Opening last week and for attending the Open House on Thursday evening. It was wonderful to see all of you at these events. We will be posting pictures soon.
